Job summary

CEENTA is recruiting a friendly Patient Representative (Front Desk) to support busy clinics in the Charlotte area. You will greet patients, verify insurance, schedule visits, and help patients understand statements while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

This role requires strong communication, comfort with EMR systems and Microsoft Office, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. On-site work Mon–Fri, with occasional variation to support clinic flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• Strong communication and courteous professionalism.
• Experience in customer service or patient-facing medical office preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in patients; ensure efficient and courteous patient flow.
• Verify and enter patient demographics and insurance information in the EHR.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments.
• Operate a multi-line phone system; monitor and return messages promptly.
• Process check-out, collect co-pays and balances, and explain statements.
• Assist patients with kiosk usage and resolve appointment report errors.
• Maintain work queues and index documents into the EHR.
• Keep lobby and patient areas clean and organized.
• Support clinical teams by sending messages, scanning documents, and organizing mail.
• Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and adhere to CEENTA policies.
