Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years customer service or 1 year in health insurance field preferred.
• Experience in hospital precertification and benefit/eligibility verification preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 and related software.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for scheduled and unscheduled services.
• Verify demographics and insurance information with accuracy.
• Explain financial liability and guide to financial programs as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and act as liaison between patient and facility.
• Assist patients, families, and volunteers with wayfinding and support as needed.
