Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate’s Degree preferred.
• One year of health care experience preferred.
• Demonstrated customer service and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and answer the scheduling line.
• Obtain accurate demographics, insurance, and physician information on registrations.
• Ensure insurance pre-certification and referral requirements are met and communicate to customers.
• Identify self-pay patients and refer them to financial assistance when applicable.
• Maintain open communication with all Patient Access and clinical staff.
