Job summary

Family Health Center in Kalamazoo, MI seeks a Part-Time Customer Experience Technician to join our front desk team. You will greet patients, verify demographics, schedule appointments, collect payments, and help route inquiries to the proper department or staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Administrative Assistant certification preferred.
• Two plus years of experience in a healthcare setting or equivalent education/experience.
• Bilingual English and Spanish desired.

Responsibilities

• Greets and assists in patient registration with outstanding service.
• Verifies patient information, schedules appointments, and collects payments.
• Enters demographic and insurance/billing information accurately.
• Refer patients to Financial Counselor for financial assistance when needed.
• Multi-tasks and recalls provider scheduling requirements in a high-traffic environment.
• Assist with patient flow and front desk/call center coordination.
• Provide translation assistance for non-English speaking patients when applicable.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
