You will help guests shop and provide a fast, friendly checkout experience while maintaining store standards.

You will engage all ages, lead crafts and activities, and manage add-ons like goody bags and balloons. The role requires energy, strong people skills, and comfort working with children.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working with children and children’s events.
• Must have good communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal communication as well as listening skills.
• Must have organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Retail and/or customer service experience required.
• Energetic and enthusiastic personality.
• Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events, including children’s parties, at the Michaels store.
• Engage with clients of all ages to create a fun and creative environment.
• Demonstrate and lead party activities, including crafts and face painting.
• Manage add-ons (goody bags, balloons) and coordinate with the store team.
• Answer emails, make calls, and complete paperwork as needed; ensure safety and cleanliness.
