Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Eastern Territory in Schenectady is seeking a Part-Time Pantry Coordinator to oversee the corps pantry operations, manage intake, coordinate donations, and track client services. You will work three days a week, support emergency food distribution, and collaborate with Soup Kitchen staff to ensure proper food orders and compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• One to three years previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred.
• Safe Serv certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Pantry intake and ministry schedule three days a week.
• Ensure Pantry is properly stocked with regular staple items.
• Maintain pantry cleanliness and organize food storage spaces.
• Prepare orders for Food Bank based on budget availability.
• Coordinate with donors and stores for donations in cash, grants, and in-kind goods.
• Track client services and prepare reports for regulatory agencies and program leadership.
