Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Rochester, MN is seeking a part-time Customer Service Specialist to assist customers in-store and over the phone, determine needs, and present product solutions. This role emphasizes delivering excellent service while supporting sales goals.

You will handle in-store and phone inquiries, process transactions, and help maintain store presentation. Previous retail or paint-related experience is helpful, with opportunities to grow in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist in deliveries as needed.
