Job summary
Covenant Living Communities and Services in Northbrook, IL is seeking a Part-Time Overnight Registered Nurse to ensure quality care, assess staff, and provide direct resident care in a faith-based senior living setting. You will supervise LPNs and CNAs, participate in training, and communicate findings to the Director of Nursing.
The role requires an IL RN license and at least one year of nursing experience, with availability for overnight shifts and weekends/holidays.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Current RN license in the State of Illinois.
- One year nursing experience required.
- Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine daily direction and monitor LPNs and CNAs on the unit.
- Assist in orientation and reinforce training standards.
- Motivate LPNs and CNAs on the nursing unit.
- Explain nursing procedures and support ongoing staff training.
- Communicate with the Director of Nursing about assessments and concerns.
- Observe residents’ health and report significant changes to physician and family.
