Covenant Living Communities and Services in Batavia, IL is seeking qualified Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPNs/LVNs) for a part-time, overnight NOC shift (10:30 PM–6:30 AM). The role includes direct resident care, monitoring staff performance, care planning, and daily resident observation across assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care settings.

• Graduate of an approved school of licensed practical/vocational nursing.
• Current license, in good standing, as an LPN/LVN in the State.
• One year nursing experience.
• Devotion to standards and principles of professional nursing.

Responsabilidades

• Assist routine daily direction and monitor the work of the nursing assistants on the unit, assuring a high standard of nursing care and satisfactory completion of tasks.
• Assist in the orientation of new LPN/LVNs and nursing assistants and reinforce training standards to maintain a high quality of care.
• Provide explanation of nursing procedures and assistance to staff to assure ongoing understanding and training.
• Communicate with the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing regarding observations, concerns, and needs.
• Observe and evaluate residents' health and notify physician or family as indicated.
• Provide direct patient care including procedures such as catheter care, dressing changes, and other treatments.
• Participate in shift handoff reports to ensure proper resident information is conveyed.
• Assist in admission, orientation, and observation of new residents and communicate physician orders properly.
