Job summary

Covenant Living in Illinois is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to support overnight shifts and ensure high quality care in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care. The RN will supervise LPNs and CNAs, coordinate assessments, care planning, and communicate with physicians and families as needed.

The role emphasizes compassionate resident care, adherence to nursing standards, and flexibility to cover additional shifts or weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current Licensed Registered Nurse in the state.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Demonstrated compassion for seniors and ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine orientation and supervision of LPNs and CNAs.
• Assist in mentoring nursing staff and maintaining training standards.
• Deliver direct resident care and monitor health status.
• Explain nursing procedures and ensure staff understanding.
• Communicate assessments and changes to the Director of Nursing.
• Notify physician and families when needed according to procedures.
