Specialized Assessment & Consulting seeks a part-time Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS / O&M) to serve students with visual impairments across Magnolia, TX on multiple campuses. The role includes evaluations, ARD attendance, and ongoing school staff consultation, with a caseload of 17 students.

The position begins in August and is in person, requiring collaboration with a dedicated team and flexible scheduling to support diverse grade levels across campuses.

Qualifications

• ACVREP certification required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a COMS in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide O&M services to students with visual impairments and complete evaluations.
• Attend ARD meetings and consult with school staff.
• Collaborate with a team to support student outcomes.
