Job summary

STHS McAllen is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to manage patients across medical and surgical services. You will lead the nursing team, perform assessments, and coordinate care within hospital standards. Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary staff is essential to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Texas or compact state with current license.
• BSN preferred; associate degree or diploma acceptable with licensure.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS/ENPC as unit needs; certifications must be current.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients admitted or seen for medical or surgical conditions; provide professional nursing leadership.
• Assess, plan, guide, and evaluate nursing care in alignment with facility policies and philosophy.
• Lead and support nursing staff under supervision; coordinate with hospital departments to resolve issues.
• May work weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, or on-call as needed.
