Job summary

The RN will assess, plan, guide, and evaluate care, provide leadership to the team, ensure compliance with policies, and maintain BLS and unit-specific certifications. Weekend/evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Texas RN license (or compact) with active status.
• BSN preferred; ADN/diploma acceptable with experience.
• Maintain BLS and unit-specific certifications.
• ACLS/PALS as required by unit; keep current.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, guide, and evaluate nursing care for patients.
• Provide safe, competent nursing care per policies and standards.
• Lead and support the healthcare team with patient-centered care.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and departments; handle conflicts.

Education

RN license in Texas

BSN preferred

Associate Degree, Baccalaureate Degree or Diploma in Nursing

BLS certification

ARC/AHA certifications
