Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a Texas-licensed RN (compact state accepted).
• BSN preferred; associate degree, baccalaureate degree or diploma in nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; must maintain.
• Current ARC/AHA Healthcare Provider certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients with medical conditions or surgical procedures and provide professional nursing leadership.
• Assess, plan, guide, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with policies and standards.
• Oversee nursing staff and collaborate with hospital teams to resolve patient care concerns.
• May work weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, and/or on-call status; demonstrate Service Excellence.

Education

RN licensure (Texas or compact state)
