Qualifications

• Must have valid Massachusetts Class D driver’s license.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to perform arithmetic computations with speed and accuracy.
• Ability to understand and apply the laws, rules, regulations, policies governing the area.
• Ability to work accurately with names, numbers, codes and/or symbols.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly and stand for hours.

Responsibilities

• Unpacks and examines incoming goods to verify quality, quantity and condition of goods.
• Stores goods, supplies and equipment in storage containers.
• Marks identifying codes on articles and attaches tags for identification.
• Issues supplies, materials and equipment to users per procedures.
• Maintains records/logs of items received, issued and shipped.
• Takes physical inventory and reconciles stock records; detects variances.
• Loads/unloads items, moves materials with hand trucks; maintains stockroom appearance.
• Operates motor vehicle to deliver on campus.
