Qualifications

• Knowledge of institutional cleaning methods.
• Ability to withstand physical strain from manual tasks.
• Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.
• Ability to use simple hand and power cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Removes trash and waste and ensures sanitary conditions.
• Washes and maintains receptacles to prevent pest infestation.
• Cleans and disinfects bathrooms and lavatories.
• Maintains walls, ceilings, doors, and surfaces for a clean facility.
• Maintains furniture through cleaning and polishing.
• Cleans glass and mirrors, and maintains carpeted areas.
• Maintains hard floor surfaces through cleaning and maintenance.
• Keeps exterior areas adjacent to buildings clean and safe.
• Moves and arranges furniture per room plans.
