Job summary

Santa Rosa Junior College is building an associate faculty pool for part-time, on-call and temporary assignments across disciplines. Most classes are taught on-site with possible remote or hybrid components as needed.

Compensation is hourly and based on the AFA contract, with opportunities to teach evenings or weekends. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications for their discipline, provide materials, and may be evaluated for equivalency.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience OR an Associate’s degree and six years of related experience OR an equivalent.
• Must meet equivalency requirements if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent instruction and faculty support to students, including evening, weekend, online or hybrid assignments.
• Provide academic assistance and related services during scheduled office hours.
• Demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse student backgrounds.
