Santa Rosa Junior College is seeking to establish a pool of associate faculty for temporary, part-time, and on-call assignments across disciplines in Sonoma County. Most positions are paid hourly and may occur evenings, weekends, online or hybrid, with on-site work required.

Initial step placement follows SRJC/OAA contract rules, with compensation based on academic background and experience. Assignments are pro-rated and may not exceed 67% of a full-time load per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience, or an Associate degree and six years of related experience, or the equivalent.
• Fully satisfied California Community College Instructor's Credential in Forestry/Natural Resources and related technologies.
• Commitment to serving a diverse student population.

Responsabilités

• Provide excellent instruction and faculty support to students, including evening, weekend, online or hybrid assignments.
• Offer academic assistance during scheduled office hours.
• Maintain currency in relevant fields and adapt to diverse backgrounds.
• Associate faculty focus on instruction and student services; may be asked to perform additional paid services.
• Submit required materials and participate in the department's selection processes as needed.
