Job summary

Santa Rosa Junior College is building a pool for associate faculty to teach in person or online across Computer Studies and related disciplines. Assignments may be temporary, part-time, and/or on-call, with on-site work preferred. Evening, weekend, and hybrid opportunities may arise, with offices and support available.

The district emphasizes diversity, ongoing professional development, and alignment with the AFA contract. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Master’s in computer science or computer engineering.
• Bachelor’s in CS or CE with Master’s in mathematics, cybernetics, business administration, accounting, or engineering.
• Master’s in cybernetics, engineering, mathematics, or business administration.
• Fully satisfied California Community College Instructor's Credential in Computers and Related Technologies; and
• equivalency documentation if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent instruction and faculty support to students across assigned courses.
• Offer academic assistance during scheduled office hours and maintain currency in the field.
• Teach in person, online, or hybrid formats as required by the department.
