Job summary

Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) is seeking individuals to join a pool of associate faculty for engineering and related disciplines. Assignments are on a part-time, hourly basis and may be temporary, on-call, evenings, weekends, online or hybrid, and on-campus as needed.

Instructors provide instruction and student services, maintain currency in their field, and support a diverse student population. Eligibility includes the minimum qualifications listed by SRJC and related credential requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Bachelor’s in Engineering plus a Master’s in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry or Geology, or an equivalent credential.
• Sensitivity to diverse student backgrounds and ability to support SRJC’s inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and faculty support to students, including evening, weekend, online or hybrid assignments as needed.
• Maintain currency in the field of engineering and related disciplines.
• Contribute to a diverse, equitable and inclusive classroom environment.

Education

Master’s in Engineering

Bachelor’s in Engineering + Master in Math/Physics/CS/Chem/Geology

Instructor Credential (CC Credential) or equivalent
