Job summary

Santa Rosa Junior College is building a pool for associate faculty assignments, which may be temporary, part-time, and/or on-call. The role is typically on-site with no remote-only options, with sick leave accrual and CalSTRS retirement options described.

Candidates will provide instruction and student services to a diverse student body, with flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends. Assignments are hourly, may not exceed 67% of a full-time annual load, and compensation is based on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with two years of related experience or Associate's degree with six years of related experience.
• Or the equivalent; Or a fully satisfied (Life) California Community College Instructor's Credential in Agricultural Services and Processing.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent instruction and faculty support to students, including evening, weekend, online or hybrid assignments.
• Provide academic assistance and related services to students during scheduled office hours.
• Demonstrate sensitivity to diverse backgrounds of community college students.
• Maintain currency in field(s) of expertise.
• Associate faculty focus on instruction and/or student services.
