Qualifications

• Must provide instruction in person at the Evansville campus.
• Current Ivy Tech student or have tutoring/teaching experience within a learning community.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 and a B or better in the course they will tutor.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the learning process and offer alternative methods.
• Track students’ tutoring hours and attendance accurately.
• Promote the tutoring program to students and faculty on campus.
• Maintain a positive, welcoming attitude for all learners.
• Work effectively as part of a team and with diverse backgrounds.
• Support tutoring services for the LRC as assigned and participate in training.
