Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College – Downtown Indianapolis Campus is seeking a Part-Time Math Tutor to support students in college-level mathematics and STEM. This role involves in-person and virtual tutoring, 1-on-1 sessions, group workshops, and collaboration with the Math Center team.

Ideal candidates will have a strong math/science background, tutoring or teaching experience, and a commitment to inclusive education.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Math and related STEM fields.
• Experience tutoring or teaching at secondary or post-secondary level preferred.
• Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion in education.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 tutoring in math and STEM subjects.
• Lead group tutoring sessions and review workshops.
• Assist with outreach, marketing, and scheduling tutoring appointments.
• Document tutoring sessions and maintain FERPA compliance.
• Collaborate with faculty and tutoring team to improve services.
