Job summary

Pivotal Housing Partners in Crestline, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our Faith Housing Community (41 units). You will perform routine maintenance, respond to on-call emergencies, and help maintain a safe, welcoming living environment for residents.

The role emphasizes reliability, on-site presence, and collaboration with a responsive team. HVAC/plumbing/electrical/carpentry knowledge is valued, with on-call duties and smartphone-work-order management required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• HVAC training and certification preferred
• Commitment to regular attendance (may include weekend and OT hours)
• Ability to be “on-call” for emergencies
• Ability to receive, manage, and close work orders by using smartphone applications

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to residents
• Complete resident work orders on a timely basis (24 to 48-hour expectation)
• Broad knowledge of general maintenance: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• Assist with court-ordered “set-outs” when necessary
• Perform unit turnover between residents per company standards (3-5 days)
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal
• Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
• Be responsive to on-call emergencies
