Job summary

Pivotal Housing Partners LLC in Centerville, IA is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a part-time role at 24 hours per week. You will provide high quality service to residents and manage routine maintenance to keep the community safe and comfortable.

You will handle daily grounds upkeep, HVAC/plumbing/electrical tasks, and respond to emergencies on call. A positive, service-minded attitude and reliable transportation are required. HVAC training preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• HVAC training and certification preferred.
• Ability to be “on-call” for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to residents.
• Complete resident work orders on a timely basis (24 to 48-hour expectation).
• Broad knowledge of general maintenance: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Assist with court-ordered “set-outs” when necessary.
• Perform unit turnover between residents per company standards (3-5 days).
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal.
• Be responsive to on-call emergencies.”
