Qualifications

• Current license to practice as an occupational therapy assistant in the state you are assigned to.
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited OTA program.
• Eligible to take or completed NBCOT entry-level certification examination.
• One year related OTA experience or regional clinical leadership approval for mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled interventions under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
• Document each visit per AOTA guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Record patient responses and report changes to supervising staff.
• Offer patient/caregiver resources for future ADL/IADL needs.
• Promote wellness through engagement in daily activities.
• Coordinate follow-up care with the admitting care center.
• Stay informed on OT trends and care coordination best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
