Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to deliver home-based OT services under physician-approved plans. You will ensure the plan addresses identified problems and maintain safe, effective service delivery, with timely documentation and occasional supervision of aides.

The role requires an OT license in the state, ACOTE-accredited education, NBCOT eligibility, and CPR certification, with a focus on patient-centered care in home settings.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the assigned state.
• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited OT program.
• Eligible for NBCOT certification or already certified.
• One year of related OT experience preferred or eligible for mentoring.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services per physician-approved plan of care.
• Address problems identified in assessments within the plan of care.
• Ensure safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervise home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
