Job summary

Amedisys in Florida is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide home health services under a physician-approved plan of care. You will assess patient needs, develop and implement therapy plans, and ensure safe, effective delivery of OT services in patients' homes.

The role requires state licensure, ACOTE-accredited OT education, NBCOT eligibility, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of OT experience (mentoring if less). The company offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of assignment.
• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited OT program.
• Eligible to take or completed NBCOT certification.
• At least 1 year related OT experience; mentoring if <1 year.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services under physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure plan addresses identified problems and documents rationale.
• Ensure safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Supervise home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
