One year of OT experience is preferred; mentoring can be arranged for less. The position emphasizes safety, thorough documentation, and collaboration with nursing staff in a home health setting.

Qualifications

• Current OT license for the state of assignment.
• Graduate of ACOTE-approved OT program; NBCOT certification eligibility or passed.
• At least one year OT experience; mentoring approved if <1 year.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services under a physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure plan of care addresses identified problems and documents rationale.
• Maintain safety and effectiveness of therapy service delivery; complete timely documentation.
• Supervise home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
