Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing in Columbus, OH is seeking a part-time on-site Clinical Instructor to teach in the Nursing program at our Columbus campus. No prior higher-education teaching experience is required; training is provided.

You will instruct students off campus at clinical sites or in a lab, supervise the clinical component of the curriculum, and evaluate progress, providing constructive feedback. You’ll also participate in Faculty Organization and Curriculum Committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Three or more years full-time RN experience.
• Active Ohio RN license in good standing.
• Official transcripts from accredited institution.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students off campus at clinical sites and/or labs.
• Promote a positive learning environment and supervise clinical instruction.
• Create high student engagement during clinical experiences.
• Supervise and orient students to clinical site policies.
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
• Participate in Faculty Organization and Curriculum Committees.
