Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing is seeking a BSN-prepared nurse for a part-time Nursing Faculty role at our Columbus Campus. The position emphasizes classroom, lab, and clinical instruction with emphasis on curriculum implementation and student success.

The role requires an Ohio RN license in good standing and a current BLS certification. On-site teaching and collaboration within faculty committees are expected as part of the institution's Learn and Earn approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• At least three years full-time nursing practice or equivalent
• Active Ohio RN license with no encumbrances
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in classroom, lab, and clinical settings
• Promote a positive learning environment
• Collaborate to assure full curriculum implementation
• Participate in Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees
• Recommend strategies for student success
• Tutor students to meet course objectives
• Implement the clinical experience component when applicable
• Evaluate student achievement and provide feedback
