Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing in Maumee, OH seeks a part-time on-site Clinical Instructor to teach within the Nursing program at our Maumee campus. The role enables you to continue clinical work while entering Academia, shaping the next generation of nurses.

No prior higher-education teaching experience is required; training is provided. Instructors will teach off-campus and in labs, supervise students, and assess progress with ongoing feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Three or more years full-time RN experience.
• Active Ohio RN license.
• Ability to provide official transcripts.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students off campus at clinical sites and/or in a lab setting.
• Promote a positive learning environment and collaborate to ensure clinical instruction.
• Plan the student clinical experience to create high engagement.
• Supervise and orient students to the clinical site and policies.
• Evaluate student achievement and provide feedback.
• Participate in Faculty Organization and Curriculum Committees.
