Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing in Indianapolis, IN seeks a dynamic part-time on-site Clinical Instructor to teach within the Nursing program at our Indianapolis campus. The role enables you to continue working in the field while exploring Academia and guiding the next generation of nurses.

No prior teaching experience in higher education is necessary; training is provided. You will teach in clinical sites or labs, ensuring full coverage of the clinical curriculum and engaging students in clinical

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
Three or more years full-time work experience as a RN (or part-time equivalent).
Active Ohio RN license that has never been encumbered.
Ability to provide official transcripts for each degree earned from an accredited institution.
Current American Heart Association compliant Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

Instruct students off campus at our clinical sites and/or in a lab setting.
Promote a positive learning environment and work collaboratively to assure full instruction of the clinical component of the curriculum.
Create a high level of student engagement by planning the student clinical experience.
Supervise and orient students to the clinical site as well as to all applicable policies and procedures.
Evaluate each student’s achievement and progress, providing valuable feedback.
Participate as a member of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.
