Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Part-time Nursing Assistant for the 0.6 PM shift at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. The role supports RN staff in daily patient care and requires a high school diploma with no prior experience necessary. BLS certification must be obtained within 45 days.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED/HSED required.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Basic computer skills and good communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding and mobility.
• Record vitals and document in EMR accurately.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge processes under RN supervision.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed.
• Maintain infection control practices and patient safety.
