Job summary

Eastern Shore Community College seeks part-time Certified Nurse Aide Adjunct Instructors for Fall 2026. Instructors teach courses in classroom, Zoom, or online settings, with a commitment to student learning outcomes and timely feedback.

The role requires RN licensure in Virginia, BSN, and at least 5 years nursing experience including long-term care. Training to certify as trainer and ongoing recertification are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse with an active Virginia license or multistate licensure.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Minimum 5 years nursing experience; 1 year in long-term care within last 5 years.
• Ability to certify as train-the-trainer and recertify every 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses to which you are trained, in classroom, Zoom, or online.
• Provide timely, thorough feedback and hold office hours.
• Align activities with learning outcomes and assess student learning within the term.
