Job summary

Germanna Community College invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty in clinical nursing for the 2027 academic year. The college seeks candidates to teach CNA, LPN, and RN both in-person and online. Adjuncts may teach up to 12 credit hours in fall/spring and up to 8 in summer; assignment depends on enrollment and needs.

Must reside within commuting distance to Virginia, or relocate as needed. A BSN is required; MSN preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Official transcripts required prior to final offer.
• Complete Growing with Canvas and TOPS 2.2 prior to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach specific nursing classes as assigned.
• Develop course syllabi and instructional materials.
• Maintain records, assign grades, and assess student progress.
• Adhere to GCC and VCCS policies and regulations.
• Maintain current competence in nursing.
