Job summary

Sampson Community College is seeking qualified nursing professionals to serve as Adjunct Nurse Aide Instructors in its Continuing Education division. This is a part-time, adjunct position with evening and weekend instructional assignments.

The instructor will provide classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction in line with the NC DHSR Nurse Aide curriculum and college policies. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and mentoring future healthcare professionals, delivering

Qualifications

Must hold an unencumbered RN license and be eligible to practice in North Carolina.
Minimum of two years (4,000 hours) of RN experience in the United States.
One of: completed course in teaching adults; experience teaching adults; or experience supervising nurse aides.
Ability to meet DHSR faculty approval requirements.
Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain it before instruction.
Ability to teach and evaluate students in classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Able to work evening and weekend instructional assignments.

Responsibilities
