Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a part-time role in skilled nursing facilities. You will manage your own patient panel and build lasting relationships with residents and families.

The position emphasizes autonomous practice with 16–20 patients daily, round in the morning, and charting from home. A productivity-based compensation model rewards higher patient volumes, with comprehensive benefits and CME support.

Qualifications

• Board-certified NP or PA with active, unrestricted state license.
• Advanced practice degree required: NP or PA program.
• Strong independent clinical judgement and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced facility.

Responsibilities

• See roughly 16–20 patients per day, including wellness visits, chronic and acute issues.
• Manage chronic conditions and adjust medications as needed.
• Coordinate with collaborating physicians, specialists, and facility staff to ensure seamless care.
• Participate in family communications and care conferences as appropriate.
