Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) seeks an experienced Physician for a part-time role in skilled nursing facilities, managing your own panel and building long-term relationships with patients and families.

You will see roughly 16–25 patients daily, handling wellness visits and H&Ps, chronic and acute conditions, and coordinating with specialists. Shifts are 6 hours and mornings are common, with charting from home.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics (or equivalent).
• Valid, unrestricted physician license in the state of operation.
• Must be opted-in with Medicare.
• Successful completion of an accredited residency program.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience strongly preferred.
• Strong independent clinical judgment and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• See roughly 16–25 patients per day, a mix of long-term chronic care and acute issues.
• Manage chronic and co-morbid conditions; respond to acute changes.
• Review medications and orders; coordinate with collaborating specialists and facility staff.
• Join care conferences where it makes sense to keep care seamless.
