Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College seeks qualified instructors to deliver non-credit, skills-based classes for the Ivy+ Career Link program. Courses may occur in a continuing education classroom, live online, or at client sites, with morning, afternoon, or evening sessions on weekdays or weekends.

The role requires creating engaging content and high-quality teaching materials for diverse learners. Instructors collaborate with Employer Consultants to align dates, content, and pricing, and are expected to

Qualifications

Prior teaching and facilitation experience preferred but not required.
Subject matter expertise demonstrated through education and/or professional experience.
Ability to teach assigned non-credit course effectively.
Knowledge of the subject area and professional experience to substantiate course content.

Responsibilities

Deliver non-credit, skills-based classes as assigned.
Provide a learning environment that supports student success.
Collaborate with the Ivy+ Career Link Employer Consultant to plan dates, content, and pricing.
Teach and train classes in workplace and campus locations to meet client learning objectives.
Maintain records on attendance, grades, and other information.
Develop materials for effective curriculum delivery.
Participate in evaluation processes to assess program viability.
