Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking adjunct faculty to teach assigned courses on a part-time, as-needed basis. Instructors will create a course-specific syllabus and use standard syllabi, deliver effective instruction, and assess student progress within College guidelines.

Responsibilities include maintaining attendance records, meeting scheduled classes, and using Canvas and PowerPoint to support instruction.

Qualifications

• Earned master's or higher in human services from a regionally accredited institution.
• Academic preparation appropriate to the program and related credentials or experience.
• Possession of professional certification or licensure, or two years of post-master's related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses and create a suitable syllabus per course.
• Maintain attendance and grading records per college policy.
• Be available to students outside class time to assist and answer questions.
• Notify the chair in case of emergencies and follow Canvas/PPT usage as needed.
