Job summary

Community Solutions Inc. is seeking a part-time Residential Re-Entry Specialist for Cheyney House in Hartford, CT. You will supervise clients, support safety, and facilitate counseling and activities to aid community re-entry.

The role requires a High School Diploma with 4 years in social services or a related field, plus punctuality and a valid driver’s license. Earn $19.75 per hour with applicable shift differentials, working the 12:00am–8:00am schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 4 years of experience in social service or criminal justice.
• Education may be substituted with relevant experience on a one year for one year basis.
• Able to arrive 15 minutes before shift for shift changes.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clients and uphold safety and security of the facility.
• Provide counseling, advocacy and support and model appropriate behavior.
• Administer assessments and monitor service plan goals.
• Coordinate case management and group activities.
• Conduct searches, counts and daily incident documentation.
