Job summary

Community Solutions Inc. (CSI) seeks a part-time Residential Re-Entry Specialist for Cheyney House in Hartford, CT. You will supervise clients, follow agency policies, and help with counseling, advocacy and support to promote successful community reintegration.

The role involves case management, assessments, monitoring service plan goals, and ensuring safety and security across shifts. Salary is $19.75 per hour with applicable shift differentials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 4 years of experience in the social service or criminal justice field preferred.
• Education may be substituted with relevant experience on a one year for one year basis.
• Able to arrive 15 minutes before shift for shift change, may also be required to stay later.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide client supervision and complete required program operations.
• Uphold all Agency policies and procedures pertaining to safety and security of clients, Agency property and community.
• Be a role model to clients while providing a safe environment, facilitating counseling, advocacy and support.
• Conduct assessments, monitor clients' compliance with service plan goals, and involve clients in services addressing criminogenic tendencies.
• Perform case management, supervision and group-based activities to support community re-entry.
