Job summary

Community Solutions, Inc. (CSI) seeks a full-time Residential Re-Entry Specialist for Cheyney House in Hartford, CT. You will supervise clients, facilitate counseling, advocacy and support, and manage program operations in a trauma-informed, community-based setting.

You will conduct assessments, monitor progress toward service plan goals, and engage clients in services addressing criminogenic needs. Responsibilities include shift reporting, safety, and documentation to support successful

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 4 years in social service or criminal justice recommended.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Arrive 15 minutes before shift; may stay later.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to transport clients if needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clients and regulate activities to maintain safety and order.
• Provide updates on client issues and incidents during shifts.
• Verify all items passed between shifts and maintain security of facility keys.
• Conduct employment, job search and home confinement checks on each shift.
• Document searches, incidents, and results from counts and searches.
• Monitor self-administration of medication and document accordingly.
