Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating nursing station activities.
• Perform record organization and transcription of orders; complete forms and requisitions.
• Maintain charts and assemble patient information.
• Handle clerical and receptionist duties across phone and computer systems to coordinate care.
• Maintain the physical environment of the nursing station.
• Order office supplies and request IS/maintenance tickets.
• Respond to patient/family inquiries and coordinate interpreter services as needed.
• Be available for temporary assignments across Akron Children's Hospital enterprise as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
