Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health, headquartered in Camden, NJ, is seeking a Certified Critical Care Tech II for the 10 South INCU unit. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, basic clinical tasks, and direct communication with the RN and healthcare team.

Requires 0-2 years of experience, High School/GED, and active Patient Care Technician certification with BLS. This is a part-time night position with weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Successful completion of Patient Care Technician training and active certification required.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required.
• Certification CPT, CPCT-A, or ACMA required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, feeding, hygiene).
• Perform phlebotomy, monitor vital signs, point-of-care testing, EKGs, and Foley catheter care as directed by RN.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient status to RN and respond to ensure safety.
• Reinforce patient and family education regarding care needs and safety.
