Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a part-time Critical Care Tech in Camden, NJ. You will assist with daily living activities under the RN, perform phlebotomy, vital signs, EKGs, and assist with care plans in a busy medical-surgical unit.

The role requires a PCT certification, high school diploma or GED, and BLS. Shift is nights, 7p–7:30a, with weekend/holiday rotation in a Level 1 trauma center environment.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Patient Care Technician training and active PCT certification required.
• 0–2 years healthcare experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and patient comfort under RN supervision.
• Perform phlebotomy, vital signs, point-of-care testing and EKGs as directed.
• Identify changes in patient status and communicate to RN promptly.
• Reinforce patient and family education on care needs and safety.
• Support rounds, documentation, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
