Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a Critical Care Tech for Pavilion 7 in Camden, NJ. The role supports patients with daily living activities under an RN, performs bedside tasks and communicates changes to the nurse in charge. The unit runs 24/7 with nights, weekends, and holidays rotation.

Requirements include High School/GED, completion of Patient Care Technician training with active certification, and BLS. The position is full-time, offering 36 hours weekly, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM shifts.

Qualificações

• High School/GED required.
• Successful completion of Patient Care Technician training and have an active Patient Care Technician Certification required.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required.
• Successful completion of CPT or CPCT-A.

Responsabilidades

• Support patients’ activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, hygiene, mobility, transport).
• Perform phlebotomy, vital signs, point of care testing, EKGs, Foley catheter care as directed.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient status to RN and respond appropriately.
• Reinforce education for patients and families regarding care needs and safety.
• Participate in patient satisfaction initiatives and orientation of new hires.
