Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of Patient Care Technician training and active PCT certification.
• 0-2 years’ experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, hygiene, mobility).
• Perform technical duties as directed by RN (phlebotomy, vital signs, point-of-care testing, EKGs, Foley care).
• Document appropriately and communicate changes in patient status to RN.
• Reinforce education for patients and families about care needs and safety.
