Job summary

AdventHealth in Ocala, FL is seeking a Part-time Overnight Associate to support patient access and revenue cycle tasks. You will perform Medicare compliance reviews, estimate patient financial responsibility, and coordinate with insurance and clinical teams to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role requires high school graduation, strong communication skills, and familiarity with EMR systems. Night weekend shifts provide critical coverage in a patient-centered environment with a focus on service

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv required.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare and patient financial processes helpful.
• Ability to follow complex instructions and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform Medicare compliance reviews and notices.
• Estimate patient financial responsibility and collect payments or set up plans.
• Coordinate with utilization management for pre-auth issues.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain pre-authorizations.
• Register patients and prevent duplicate medical records.
• Collect demographic and insurance details from patients.
• Ensure coverage during shifts and arrange relief as needed.
• Coordinate with departments to improve patient experience.
• Provide excellent customer service and document conversations.
• Assist PBX when needed and perform cashiering duties.
